Fine Art Portrait Photography

Fashion Portraits
I started out as a portrait photographer back in the 1980's, mainly working in black and white, which I developed and printed himself in my darkroom which was based at Lombard Street, Margate.
I've always shot a portrait in an imaginative way to create a unique and interesting image rather than just a standard portrait.
After 34 years as a working photographer I've become very selective with which commissions I undertake.
I specialise in high key black & white portraits with a "fashion" "glamour" or "fine art" look and feel to them.
A few example are below.

My Early Portrait Work Using Film - 1987
"I started out as a portrait photographer back in the 80's, mainly working in black and white, which I developed and printed himself."
"I've always shoot a portrait in an imaginative way to create a unique image and interesting picture."
"Here are three of my very early portraits taken in 1987 when I first started as a portrait photographer.
Before the late 90's I had to do all the dodging and burning in the darkroom. It's much easier now with digital cameras and a computer."
