The Seascape Photography Workshop is an ideal introduction to Fine Art Landscape Photography and covers the basics of long exposure and learning about shooting in low light to how to compose a great picture. This workshop is ideally suited for people who have a knowledge of the basics and want to go further with their photography.
This workshop is more a practical in the field workshop rather than classroom based, so if you are new to photography you would be better doing my beyond Basics for beginners workshop before attempting this workshop.

How long does the Workshop take to do?
- The workshop lasts 3 hours in total.
What type of camera do I need to do the course?
- No restrict on camera type as long as your camera, whether compact, bridge, DSLR or system camera, but camera must has [M] manual.
How much does it cost and for how many people?
- An individual One to One workshop costs £125 per workshop (priced for one person).
- To do the 'Sunrise' and 'Sunset' workshop people contact me for a package price.
- Group workshops can be arranged, with maximum number of 4 people on the workshop contact me for a package price.
- The Workshop is run in the beautiful seaside towns of Broadstairs and Margate in Thanet, Kent, so ideal if visiting for a weekend or longer stay at the seaside. Location varies depending on tides, as some locations are better at high tide and others at low tide.
What date and time is the workshop?
- There are two versions of the workshop, sunrise and sunset.
- Contact me to arrange a date for the workshops.
- Workshops start 1hr 45mins before sunrise and 1 hr before sunset
The difference between Sunrise and Sunset Workshop
- The sunset workshop is a slightly easier workshop as it starts in daylight, so it is better suited for anyone less experienced or less familiar with their camera setting.
- The sunrise workshop requires a the person to know their camera setting well as we start the workshop in the dark.
What will I need to bring?
- A Tripod
- Ideally a cable release
- Sensible footwear - as we will be standing in wet sand or surf, wellington boots would be best suited
- Waterproof Jacket
- Warm clothing
- Torch
