Photography at Wingham Wildlife Park
I've often go to Wingham Wildlife Park to photograph the critters over the years as I'm a real wildlife nut and love trying to capture a portrait of them.
I also find it great place to horn ones skills for when I'm out in the field shooting wildlife pictures.
Zoo photographs has many challenges to overcome to get a natural looking pictures without the usual zoo clutter in the background. The biggest obstacle is obviously having to shoot through nasty reflective silver fences which are usually one meter away in between you and the critter. Having said that, give me those fences over the glare ridden smudged, smeary and fogged up glass which now seems to be being used more often on enclosures and is almost impossible to get a really sharp shot through.
These are some of my favourite shots taken over the years at WWP.
