​I started out as a portrait photographer back in the 1980's, mainly working in black and white, which I developed and printed himself in my darkroom which was based at Lombard Street, Margate. 

I've always shot a portrait in an imaginative way to create a unique and interesting image rather than just a standard portrait.

My Early Portrait Work Using Film - 1987

"Three of my very early portraits taken in 1987 when I first started as a portrait photographer. Before the late 90's I had to do all the dodging and burning in my darkroom at Lombard Street, Margate. ​It's much easier now with digital cameras and a computer."
